The background wood is stained dark brown on all sides and made of 1/2 inch Baltic birch plywood. The letters are made of 1/4 inch Baltic birch plywood and mounted to the background. The light colored wood letters on the dark background creates a beautiful contrast! Not recommend for outdoor use in the direct elements.

Excellent Quality!
I purchased this for a wedding gift and was VERY impressed at the quality of this sign! It was made exactly the way I requested online and the craftsmanship was very detailed. I love this sign! I got the black background & when it arrived my daughter painted the 3D natural wood aspects with gold leaf paint & detailed the berries with colors to match my son & his fiance's birthstone colors. They loved it so much they're using it at their wedding reception party. Beautiful craftsmanship & very friendly, attentive seller.
