The background wood is stained dark brown on all sides and made of 1/2 inch Baltic birch plywood. The letters are made of 1/4 inch Baltic birch plywood and mounted to the background. The light colored wood letters on the dark background creates a beautiful contrast! Not recommend for outdoor use in the direct elements.

I recently received my order and it was damaged in shipping. The box had a gash in it and some of the lettering was broken. I was very disappointed. This was my son’s wedding gift. I contacted the company and was told they would replace it as soon as possible. I received a new one today in time for my son’s wedding! It is beautiful and perfect!!
